All unshipped / unclaimed stones are securely held by us and marked as “Vaulted” in the metadata of your GemWorks Faceted Gems Certificate / NFT. Vaulting is 100% FREE and allows for open trading anywhere while we build out our marketplace, will which will operate securely, without the need for vaulting in order to ensure delivery.
In the meantime, when a vaulted stone sells on Opensea, or changes hands, the buyer can rest assured that they can redeem the physical stone at any time – while keeping the NFT for onchain provenance purposes and future sales and integration with jewelry certicficates.
